Unveiling

It seems it is time to reveal the long hard work we have done on our home. There are still a few minor things that we need to do, but 99% is done and we are very pleased to present some before and after photos for your enjoyment. Interior pictures will come later because we still have some work to do on the inside.

Announcement

Well, today was the day the last piece of siding was put on our house! Woohoo! And the other announcement, for those of you who may not know, we are expecting baby number seven. Woohoo!!! This summer has been a whirlwind of work and activities. And we've been loving it. Since I last wrote, our house is finished with siding, as aforementioned, we planted a tree and many flowers and bushes, a big back deck was added, a patio added to the front and the upstairs bathroom completely gutted. Also, Little Benjamin Walker turned 3. I am going to hold off on putting any detailed pictures of our house on here, so as to enhance anticipation for the picture with all the details. We still have to add lights, doorbells and such and then we can take a final picture. But here are some fun pictures along the way.
Benny- happy on his birthday

Happy is the man with his power tools!

Happy is Grace, climbing and getting dirty

Happy are the boys playing t-ball

Happy are we, planting trees

Happy for a new deck!

Maybe excessively happy!?

Family is happiness

We have not fallen off the face of the earth

I have not blogged now for a very long time. But we have not fallen off the face of the earth. April and May I have no excuse for, but since then I must say that having warm weather changes everything in Minot. We become very busy. Grandma and Grandpa (bless their souls!) just left this morning . They were here visiting and helping tremendously with the many projects we need to get done this short summer! They are amazing and we loved having them here!!!! Since I last wrote Grace turned 1, Abel turned 6 and we have been siding, tearing out doors and windows, tearing out decks, gardening, playing t-ball, visiting farms for fresh milk, and enjoying time outside. I will include a few pictures of such things and will try to do better at updating this in the future! Grace's 1st birthday

Adorable lunch

We are wondering if spring will ever come here. Blizzards, snow, below freezing temps and it is nearly April. Perhaps by June the snow will melt. In the meantime we enjoy a few more minutes of sunshine each day. It is hopeful! We also have some fun together. Below is a video of the most adorably packed lunch box I've seen. Normally I wouldn't say a lunch box is adorable, but in this instance I will.

Mini man, scary man (great dad), and other stuff

I have a few random pictures that I thought I should share. The first set of pictures are of "mini man", as we call him. Benny is a crack up. He is so little for his age, and we think he is mighty cute.

Next up is praise of my husband, who is a great dad! You may find the next pictures a little scary, but in all honesty, he is scary for the boys' sakes. He went upstairs one day after work, and came back down all dressed up like "merchant sea man of death". The boys absolutely loved it, (a boy thing I guess). The other picture is of him reading to all the kids.

Jeffrey is a good big brother. He got Grace to fall asleep.
